Belgium's Christian Vande Velde rides in the 196,5 km and fifth stage of the 2012 Tour de France cycling race starting in Rouen and finishing in Saint-Quentin, northeastern France, on July 5, 2012. Four former teammates of US Lance Armstrong, George Hincapie, Levi Leipheimer, Christian Vande Velde and David Zabriskie, will receive six month bans after they confessed to doping and testified against the seven-time Tour de France winner, as reported on July 5, 2012 by De Telegraaf. They are said to have given evidence in the USADA investigation which has charged Armstrong with doping.
