An information board above the platform on station Hollands Spoor announces the departure of the first direct train to Brussels from The Hague on February 18, 2013. As of today commuters can travel on the intercity train, operating twice daily,and which replaces the high-speed Fyra trains. The Fyra trains used between Amsterdam and Brussels are out of function since 17 January due to numerous problems culminating mid January with cancellations due to safety issues.
