Migrants Seek EU Entry At Serbian-Hungarian Border
ASOTTHALOM, HUNGARY - FEBRUARY 22: An Afghan migrant walks through thicket after he crossed illegally over the Hungarian-Serbian border on February 22, 2015 near village of Asotthalom, Hungary. Migrants from Afghanistan, Syria and from Kosovo try to illegally enter Hungary, which is a member country of the European Union, and to either claim asylum there or move on to other EU countries such as Germany or the United Kingdom. Germany in particular has seen hundreds of asylum-seekers from Kosovo arrive in recent weeks, prompting meetings between German, Serbian, Hungarian and Kosovo officials. There is decline in number of illegal migrants crossing Hungarian-Serbian border lately. According to one of the field rangers there are only about 30 to 40 of them every day.
