The Dustoff crews from Charlie Company, 6th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment flew more than 300 missions a month, at the height of the summer fighting season, often flying into enemy fire and landing on possible minefields to transport life-or-death patients to the military hospitals at Kandahar Airfield (KAF).
